Historical RomanceWelcome to my website. My new release is JASPER’S ANGEL, set in the Regency. No real angels appear in this book, and I must confess the heroine cannot really conjure thunderbolts. My ebooks are also available from fictionwise.com and the Kindle store at Amazon.com, among many other places. I hope you enjoy the excerpts from my books.
Jasper's AngelNovember 2009 Every time he thought he’d awakened from a dream, he’d find his avenging angel asleep beside him, her head resting on his chest, her tangled hair spread out over his shoulder. He stole a token from her, a shining magic wand. He scratched himself with the sharp point. It hurt. Things never hurt in dreams, did they? He couldn’t remember. Certain she’d make him return it, he hid the glittering thing under the mattress. If she left him, he’d keep it to remind him of his angel. Could he use it to summon her to his bed? His angel made soft sounds and stroked her cool hands over his body.
Perfect Obedience - Now in PrintNew Concepts Publishing
Fern must vow perfect obedience to Lord Jarrad at their wedding. He can’t resist loving her. She never expects to survive.
“I'm glad to be useful,” he said. “It's far better to be useful than frightening to look at. Though I have to warn you, I think your taste is lacking. Are you sure you aren't blind?” She laughed and measured his shoulders, “Do you mind if I use your body as well, it seems a shame to separate your head from the rest. I mean, may I measure you, sir?” He lifted one long leg out of the water, taking care not to splash her, and stretched it out to rest his calf on the rim. “You may use me in any way that pleases you, little one, even though your pleasures seem strange to me.”
Every Midnight - Now in PrintNew Concepts Publishing "...a pretty wonderful love story that I will definitely read again." 4 cups -- Maura, CoffeeTimeRomance Lizzie Tempest has accidentally ruined a man she hates and now she must marry the Beast. As far as she knows, he is a debauched, licentious rake. Lizzie is so afraid of catching syphilis that she makes a pact with him. She promises to go to him every midnight if he is faithful to her, but Lizzie soon learns her body will betray her every midnight. She slid into her chair before she spoke again. “Then once a week, if you are going to insist on being depraved.” He gave a half shrug with his one good shoulder. “I can only promise not to bother you more than I have to.” “No! There must be rules!” She arranged her dark skirts to make sure her ankles were not showing. “Set them at your peril,” he warned in
a gentle voice. “If you insist on fidelity,
you get all of me and I get you, to please
as often as I yearn to. Think well before
you demand fidelity, Lizzie.”
